HEARTS have cut Celtic fans away allocation with the two sides set to face off on Wednesday 26th of January. [Daily Record]

On Celtic’s last visit to Tynecastle with fans, the travelling fans filled over 3,500 seats however for the upcoming fixture only 1289 tickets will be available for Celtic supporters. Celtic fans will be the first SPFL team to be permitted away supporters since 2019.

The decision as been made just hours after the Scottish Government announced football teams can open the gates to allow full capacity.

On the opening game of Celtic’s season, no away fans were permitted as the ground had a maximum capacity of 4,500 and was only open to season ticket holders. Hopefully, with the small number of fans permitted this time around, Celtic can leave the capital with a positive result.

Away fan allocation for the Bodo/Glimt game is no clearer yet, with the Norwegian government also imposing restrictions on outside gatherings.
