A follow up to our article a few weeks back about some of the Hearts fans behaviour after Scott Sinclair’s debut winner. The player ran past the Hearts fans to celebrate with the Celtic fans. While passing the Hearts fans, a Jambos fan took a swipe at the player and someone also tried to spit on him.

One of our readers got in touch with us to let us know the outcome of the investigation into the incident and it is as follows:

In response to your previous email Police Scotland have informed the Club a 25-year-old man has been charged following an incident during the Hearts v Celtic game when an attempt was made to confront a Celtic player. The Club have written to the male concerned and informed him he is banned, with immediate effect, from attending any fixture involving Hearts pending the outcome of any criminal proceedings.

  1. HAIL HAIL TonyB, I was the reader as mentioned above. After witnessing the fore said incident i sent Anne Budge’s pa who’s name is Miss/Mrs Oldham an email. In that email I wanted to know what action the club was going to take against the perpetrators, as the owner has made it public several times how she is going to single handedly clean up Scottish football. I was then contacted by a Mr Phil O’Kane, Security and Safety Manager who updated myself this afternoon.

  2. Aye they say they have but we know the SPFL Sevco masterplan wont tolerate any action that benefits celtic. I would be suprised if they had even bothered investigating, typical SFA cheats. Hearts should be docked points for a sectarian attack like this FACT HAIL HAIL
