Hearts have been handed a slight boost ahead of this weekend’s league season opener against Celtic.

The Jambos have been given a small attendance increase, with 737 additional tickets becoming available for the Edinburgh side and their supporters taking the attendance on the night to 5,272.

Of course, it has been great seeing supporters across the country getting back to games, but at the best of times, Tynecastle can be a tricky place to go with the reception that home fans give to the away side.

There obviously won’t be a full capacity available, but on their return to the Scottish Premiership, they will likely try to make some noise to cheer on Robbie Neilson’s side.

So, for Ange Postecoglou and his side, it could be a tough task ahead with Hearts looking to take an early scalp.

In the last few years, fans will have become used to home fixtures to start the league campaign. However, Ange will be thrown in at Tynecastle, similar to manager’s before him, for their first taste of Scottish Premiership action.

From a Celtic point of view, the 55-year old will be looking to make a good start to the League campaign and bounce back from a disappointing exit from the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
