CELTIC FANS gearing up for a title clincher at Celtic Park should know, it’s not quite there yet!

With the disappointing defeat to Hibs yesterday putting the champagne on ice, everyone is now looking to next weeks Glasgow Derby as the time to do it.

However, this isn’t a certainty just yet as Celtic could be crowned champions before they have kicked a ball next Sunday.

Celtic are currently 10 points ahead with 12 points still to play for.

If The Rangers win against Hearts today then they will also be ten points behind Celtic which would cement the prospect of a title clincher next week.

If The Rangers lose today they will mathematically not be able to win the league and be 13 points behind with only 12 remaining. In this scenario, Celtic would be on the brink of their seventh title and could win it on Friday night if Hearts manage a win over Aberdeen.

If Aberdeen hold firm then it would come down to Sunday again with Celtic looking to go 10 points clear with only 9 left on the table.

In a nutshell, if you’re pro a title clincher at Celtic Park next week you want to see The Rangers and Aberdeen see off Hearts before next Sunday.

  1. If needs must,i’d prefer winning the title at home next week against that Rancid Tribute Act.Simply humiliate them by putting a barrel load past them. And rub it right intae them. They hate losing and especially against us.So it makes it all the sweeter.HH

  2. Without being paranoid . Is it true a few years ago when the first Glasgow derby of the new era of rangers and Celtic were 2 up for half-time the police intervened and asked Delia not to embarrass them because of the trouble it will cause ? I can see there being a lot of trouble at this game .. Celtic park at their end will be destroyed .. there is no way they will be going quietly if they are scudded
