THE SPFL have tonight confirmed the proposal to end the season has been accepted after Dundee put their YES vote to the governing body.

One thing which wasn’t sitting well with clubs is the relegation of Hearts and others because of the circumstances. While there’s nothing definitive at this moment in time, the SPFL have tonight released a statement to say they are now willing to look at league reconstruction in time for NEXT season.

Ann Budge and Les Gray will head up a task force on league reconstruction and the SPFL will then look at the recommendations and another vote might be held. The Premiership is still keeping the league season open until it’s deemed impossible to play the final eight games.

This could mean a larger league next season and even letting two lowland league teams into the bottom tier of the Scottish game.

The vote was handled poorly but we now have a way forward and our clubs can plan ahead with prize money etc.

  1. So help ma Boab, so the budge woman, will now be involved in arranging how she’ll keep her team UP. Gawd sakes, what next. We’ve had a yank come here with his money and tell the organisers what to do, and how to do it. He comes over here with all his money and buys Dundee FC, why? The stadia is worthless, the team is crap. Before you know it, out comes the cheque book to buy the mess they call Dundee FC.
Then there’s the guy Gardiner, from ICTFC spouting all and sundry, turns out he’s TRFC next big signing. This guy is anobody, he’s out there shafting ICTFC, and bumming himself up to high heaven. What next, Mike Ashley buying TRFC?

  2. Hearts can thank the rangers, and all the spfl clubs that kept them in there thoughts and in the league as all were showing signs of distress, throughout this lockdown
