HEARTS will show the Champions respect on Sunday before they kick off in the final game of the SPFL campaign by giving the bhoys a rightful guard of honour.

According to SunSport, the Jambos will recognise the clubs achievements in a move which will be welcomed after the poor sportsmanship shown at Ibrox last week.

Steven Gerrard’s men refused to give the bhoys a guard of honour for winning the league title the game before their visit to Ibrox. No class was shown by the SPFL runners up.

However, Craig Levein’s men will show them how it’s done when they visit Celtic Park.

The champions will be presented with the SPFL trophy at full time on Sunday regardless of the result after winning the league at Pittodrie at the start of May.

Celtic players will appreciate the gesture by their Edinburgh counterparts as they get set for a doubleheader.

After the league game is over and done with, the two clubs will do battle one last time in the Scottish Cup.
