The Celtic family is been asked to do all that it can to help trace the whereabouts of Matthew McCombe, a 21-year-old young man who has been missing since the 14th of March while he was on holiday in Amsterdam.

This is the grandson of Celtic’s most famous captain Billy McNeill. Several appeals have appeared over Twitter and Facebook the last few days from the Lisbon Lions daughter Paula.

Matthew was last seen on the Berlagebrug Bridge at 8.15am. The following is the appeal from Paula McNeil. We would ask all our readers to share this info as much as possible.

“I’m reaching out to you, the Celtic family, begging for your help to find my son, Matthew McCombe. He has been missing in Amsterdam for over two weeks now and we are desperate to find him and bring him home.

“Our hearts are broken. I beg you all to please share the post below, publicly, on your own social media pages and to as many groups as you can, so that it reaches as many people as possible in the hope that somebody somewhere has seen Matthew or can give us any information at all of where he may be.

“Words cannot explain how desperate we are to find our son. PLEASE please help us.”
