CELTIC LEGEND Henrik Larsson has resigned from his post as head coach of Helsingborgs following their relegation and subsequent attack on his son by Helsingborg fans.

The former striker had seen his team fall out the top flight at the weekend but the disturbing footage which followed seen fans rush the pitch to get to his son Jordan who plays for the Swedish outfit.

Henrik then took to the field to help fight off the yobs who disgraced their club.

Both father and son were left irate about the situation and it looks like it has hastened the Swede’s exit from the club.

Don’t be surprised to see young Jordan moving on in the close season.

Helsingborgs Chairman released this statement:

“Myself, the board, Henrik Larsson and the rest of the leadership team, together with the players, in solidarity bear the responsibility for this relegation,” club director Mats-Ola Schulze said in a statement.

“I, together with the board, want to thank Henrik for the comprehensive restructuring that has been done in the football organisation during 2015 and 2016,”
