ANGE POSTECOGLOU isn’t keen on getting in a word fight with Ibrox boss Michael Beale, with the Englishman constantly looking to have his say on Celtic and their manager. He’s even turned to former Celtic heroes, attempting to slag them just to get roasted back.

Beale’s latest admission about Celtic was that they’d probably win the league, with such a large margin at the top of the table. His side will now focus on the cups, with a League Cup final to play next Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou isn’t falling for the trap of getting caught up in the chat and giving the media a headline; instead, he’s remaining calm and dealing with the media with ease.

It’s clear from his press conference on Friday that he couldn’t give a toss what other managers are saying, focusing on his own side as they try to retain the title.

Speaking to the newspapers, Ange Postecoglou set an aim for his team that would “one hundred per cent” win Celtic the league title.

“We’ve got to win [on Saturday] mate,” Postecoglou said to The Herald. “That’s all.

“I’ve said before that my role in all of that is that we want to finish the season strong – stronger than how we started.

“If we win all of our games, we don’t have to worry about anything else or anyone else or what anyone else is saying or forecasting in terms of percentages.

“If we win every game between now and the end of the year, here’s a percentage for you…one hundred percent we will win the league. So why would we think beyond that?

“For us, beating Aberdeen gets us three points and if we get those three points we know where we’re going to be sitting in the table.”
