KRIS COMMONS has revealed what Celtic captain Scott Brown said about Odsonne Edouard when the pair had a chat a while ago.

Edouard is in his third season at Celtic after initially coming in on-loan. The Frenchman came in a year after Moussa Dembele was at the club. At the time, Moussa was the main man and was banging in goals for fun. However, the Celtic captain made a startling revelation to Commons about the player and something which might just be on the money after all is said and done.

“I spoke to Scott Brown about him when he first came into the squad.” Commons told Sunsport.

“I said, how’s he settling in? He said, ‘Honestly Kris, he’s better than Moussa.’”

Edouard is now the main man at Celtic and is a very different player from Moussa but no less impactful. The player has been carrying Celtic’s frontline for around 18 months and was the catalyst for some big results and trophy winning games.

Brown obviously seeing Eddy in training everyday had more insight than the average punter. The striker will continue to perform throughout the season and will again look to be the man to spearhead Celtic’s title challenge.
