CELTIC extended their lead at the top of the SPFL game despite some horrible refereeing at Pittodrie on Wednesday.

The bhoys went ahead twice and were pegged back twice with the Dons getting two penalties which they converted.

Aberdeen’s second penalty decision was a farce and yet again highlighted Willie Collum’s poor ability as a referee.

It looked like Collums incredible decision to award Graeme Shinnie a penalty had cost Celtic all three points up North, but the Celtic team were not having any of it.

With just a few minutes left on the clock, Odsonne Edouard who was instrumental in all three second-half goals for Celtic took the bull by the horns and scored a magnificent effort to restore Celtic’s lead before his jinking run played Sinclair in for his hat-trick to secure all three points.

Aberdeen scored a very late third, but Celtic saw the game out!
