Celtic went behind against Kilmarnock on Sunday, but after conceding the penalty early on, the bhoys were relentless until they got ahead in the match.

Eamon Brophy converted a penalty which most likely shouldn’t have been given, the Killie player looking offside in the build-up. He converted it with a thumping strike giving a Forster no chance.

After that, it was all Celtic. Kristoffer Ajer picked up where he left off at Pittodrie, scoring the goal to get us back on level terms.

Celtic continued to push for the goal that would put them ahead, and it would come in the first half.

Edouard latching onto a cross and sneaking it under the goalkeeper and Kirk Broadfoot who got the last touch with his head as he desperately tried to keep it out.

Broadfoot’s reaction was priceless, watch the highlights from two minutes onwards, and you’ll see him smacking the ground and screaming at his teammates.

Delicious.

Kirk was banned for ten games down south when he played for Rotherham. The player received the ban for a sectarian tirade against James McClean during a match against Wigan. Kirk was also fined £7,500 as reported by SportsJoe.

The staunch former Ibrox player looked desperate to try and help his old club keep up with Celtic.
