CELTIC could have the league wrapped up this weekend. They could win it on Friday without kicking a ball if Aberdeen fail to win their game.

If the Dons do continue their winning streak then it will be down to Celtic at Tynecastle to perhaps finish this league campaign off where it started back in August.

With the league being pretty much over, it’s down to the manager and players to find the motivation to keep going until the end of the season. There’s no better reason to keep the Celtic juggernaut going when you realise the bhoys just need 21 points from the last 9 games to better Martin O’Neill’s 01/02 point tally of 103!

21 points out of a potential 27 would see Celtic finish the season with a record points tally of 104+ and really bring it home how well they’ve done this season.

Of course, the players will also be fighting to keep their unbeaten domestic run going, but every team who will come up against Celtic from now till the end of the season will be desperate to break the bhoys resolve. It won’t be easy but it’s a very real possibility.

Celtic still have the small better of a Glasgow Derby semi-final to look forward to as well in April that could see the club move onto the final where a treble would be on offer. Again, a feet that hasn’t been matched since the O’Neill days.

Are we in the midst of another golden era? Or is it just beginning.
