Ange Postecoglou is hopeful of getting the best out of Celtic attacking midfielder Tom Rogic.
As quoted by Sun Sport, Postecoglou has worked with Rogic in the past whilst manager of the Australian National team and is looking forward to working with the 28-year old once again.
“I’ve always rated Tommy very highly. I’m looking forward to working with him.
“I’m happy to reconnect with him. He’s been a fantastic player for a long time here at Celtic and has done fantastic things.
“Hopefully, I can bring the best out of him. I really enjoyed working with him when I was with the national team.”
Last summer, it looked like Rogic’s career as a Celtic player was coming to an end if it wasn’t for a collapsed move to Qatar.
Some fans even believed this season could also be his last, with recurring injury problems continuing at stages this season.
However, with the appointment of Ange Postecoglou, it looks like the Australian internationalist could be set to be given a chance to revive his Celtic career.
The one player that Ange will know well without even being on the training ground is Rogic, so if one man could revitalise him as a Celtic player, it is the 55-year old.
Rogic is a fantastic player to watch on his day, but sadly we haven’t seen that enough in the last few years.
Fingers crossed, we can see Postecoglou get him back fit and firing once again going into next season.
