It is remarkable what can happen in a few months in the football world. Last summer Celtic sold one of its most prized gems which was Kieran Tierney. Not only had fans to endure one of their favourites leave to go to Arsenal but it left Neil Lennon without a recognised left-back.

Fast forward a few months later and Neil Lennon has four left-backs and a welcome selection headache. You can argue Jonny Hayes is not a left-back but you’ll need to have that argument with the Celtic manager.

Calvin Miller carried the hopes of many fans to break into the first team but it just hasn’t happened and looks unlikely to happen in the future if today’s reports are true.

Football Insider is claiming a club source has said Lennon is ready to let the academy player find a new club in the summer. It makes sense if Lennon needs to cull the position that Miller would be top of his list. Jonny Hayes is in the last year of his contract but he seems to have his managers backing.

There were also rumours last week that the champions were ready to sell on Bolingoli after his season nose-dived in the new year.
