VASILIS BARKAS had his opportunity to turn a corner tonight but the goalkeeper was left in no mans land as he was beaten from a position he really should have covered.

The goalkeeper had a horrid start to his Celtic career last season, there was renewed hope he could turn things around, if that’s to be the case he needs to cut game changing errors out NOW!

The game changed when Barkas failed to deal with a whipped shot which went over him and into the net giving the away side their equaliser.

Celtic fans are rightfully upset we’ve seen another howler from the keeper.

The Hoops looked good in the first half before Bitton decided to get himself sent off. When we got back to ten vs ten, we looked good, weren’t clinical and then we shoot ourselves in the foot again.

It’s so maddening, we looked decent and could have won the game by two or three goals. It shows the same problems exist from last season, it’s little wonder when so many of the personnel who let us down last season are still lingering.

      • I thought so too. The first goal came from his shot and he was unlucky to hit the post. He was direct. Calum McGregor certainly wasn’t the man of the match. Given to him because he is the captain. I thought Soro was excellent too. That said both teams on that performance won’t get very far

  1. Christie was amazing tonight he’s the only one of the want away players that provided, eduoard was shit he’s not interested should have kept Abada on

  2. Laughed out of our birthrite in three easy moves. One. Mr Edd has to go. Two. The unholyest of goalies has to fall on his own dirk (he will probably miss it in mid air) Three. Who picked this team???? as it smelt of horseshit.

  3. Pathetic performance, no shape, passing and ball control useless, l can’t believe their is not better full back at CELTIC than ralston, there is no way mcgregor is captain material, he needs to concentrate on his own performances without the burden of captain.we better get prepared for a long miserable season ahead.

    • I think Ralston gives 100% but he isn’t Celtic class and has no pace. He doesn’t get past the last man. Welsh was excellent but needs to not lunge in the tackles that follow through onto the man. The goal came from his foul but in fairness it’s not his fault we have a flapper in goals
