CELTIC look set to send their young left-back protege Adam Montgomery on loan for the rest of the campaign according to reports.

The left-back has been in and out of the side this season and his progress is coming along well.

With Liam Scales slowly emerging at left-back, Greg Taylor back from injury and Juranovic an option in the position, it’s the best time for Adam to go out and get game time.

The Daily Express report Celtic are considering a number of loan offers from both north and south of the border.

The club has Adam tied to a long term deal and there’s no real downside to sending him out on loan to get vital experience.

Coaches at Celtic are high on Adam’s potential and will track his progress closely when he does head out.

We await to see what club it’s going to be!

There’s an argument for the player to stay in the SPFL and ply his trade but he could also benefit from being away from the limelight in Scotland and heading south of the border to play in a different league.

The more experience, the better.
