Celtic and Copenhagen fans have been praised for supporting their teams during the Thursday night Europa League clash in Denmark.

Both were loud from the off in the Parken stadium as the team played out a 1-1 draw leaving it all to okay for in the second leg.

Both sets of supporters had a TIFO before the game. Celtic has a green and white TIFO which read ‘And the Glasgow Celtic will be there’. Copenhagen unveiled a massive banner with the whole stand covered in blue and white reading the teams name and the tag line ‘no place for luck’ – it was a great visual.

We missed it on Thursday night but it was brought to our attention on Friday, Celtic fans had another banner and it appears they found out what Copenhagen had planned!

This smaller banner was in reply to Copenhagen’s ‘luck’ TIFO and read Now need for luck’

Brilliant banter by the Celtic support who have previous for this. A few seasons ago, The Rangers unveiled a TIFO which read ‘Three Letters Emblazoned on Our Breast’. Only for Celtic fans to unveil their own banner at the other end of Ibrox which read ‘Three letters emblazoned on your grave, RIP’
