Some people love him, some people erm, don’t love him but the speculation linking Efe Ambrose with a move away from Celtic Park has come as a bit of a shock.
Not only is the player being sought after by reputable side Bayer Leverkusen, but apparently, they’re willing to pay upwards of £1million to secure his services.
How much?!
Efe has had his good moments in a Celtic jersey but he’s mostly known for some of the insane moments he’s had that have cost Celtic goals and sometimes games.
The player is as calm as they come, some accuse the player of a lackadaisical approach to defending that gives the support palpitations.
If the rumours are true and Celtic have accepted a bid for the Nigerian defender then we can only applaud the club for not only getting rid of a player who’s is now surplus to requirements but getting a decent fee in the process.
