Celtic take on Ferencvaros in the Europa League at the very strange kick off time of 15:30 on a Tuesday.

Why is the Celtic game being played outwith Thursday evening?

Glasgow is hosting COP26 – a summit of world leaders who are in town to talk about the climate crisis and forge a path ahead. The summit doesn’t begin until the start of November, however, preparation for the event means Celtic and UEFA were told they could NOT play the game in the normal Thursday evening slot.

Celtic fans were offered to opt-out of this game as part of their Europa package.

How can I watch Celtic vs Ferencvaros?

The game will be live on BT Sport this afternoon and the channel will emanate live from Celtic Park from 3pm.

Chris Sutton will be in attendance with Darrel Currie.

The government mandated double vaccine checks come into play for this match. Stewards will be randomly spot checking fans who will need to produce proof of double vaccine to gains access to the stadium. You can take your piece of paper along or sign up for the NHS App.

NO more tickets will be sold for the game this afternoon, so you CAN’T head up before the game and buy a ticket.
