IF you’re a Celtic fan and a Virgin Media customer then you have cause to celebrate today, provided you didn’t subscribe to a month of Premier Sports to watch Celtic’s previous qualifier against Armenia.

Virgin Media have announced they will be giving ALL of their customers two FREE months of Premier Sports and Premier Sports HD.

This means you will be able to watch Celtic’s second leg tie against Rosenborg for absolutely nothing on high definition TV.

Celtic’s home tie will not be televised in the UK and will only be open to overseas Celtic TV subscribers – the away leg will air on Premier Sports on August 1 and 19:45.

We hope this helps some fans out!

Channel 551 and temporarily 127 for High-definition.

  1. As a Sky Customer I guess Premier Sports will never get a subscription from me for this. Can’t get Virgin Media where I’m located.

  2. I would be wary of Virgin offering two months of Premier Sports for free.
If it is conditional that after the two free months you then have to start paying then you can be led a merry dance trying to cancel…

  3. Good luck to any Tim that wins out of this. But the fact is they’ve rinsed Celtic (and Sevco) fans who subscribed to finance a sweetener for the rest of their customer base after withdrawing a handful of other channels from the package. I’m sure they’re loving your free advert though.
