It was an emotional day at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon. Celtic got their title back at the first time of asking and all the bhoys were on top form to deliver a fantastic 6-0 result to end the season on a massive high note.

For Tom Rogic, it was his last outing as a Celtic player after ten years at the club. The support were told on Friday Tom would be leaving after Saturday’s game. It added more emotion to the day for the fans and for Tom.

Celtic fans rose to their feet in the 18th minute of the game to applaud Tom and sing his name out of respect for what he’s done in a Celtic jersey. The Australian also got a massive ovation when he was subbed off for the very last time.

Speaking to Australian media after the game – Tom was asked about the 18th minute applause. The Celtic hero saying ‘I heard it’ as he praised the fans for a special send off.

It’s believed Tom felt it was the right time to move on with a move closer to home on the cards for next season.

The Wizard of Oz gave us so many incredible moments – the Scottish Cup final goal to land the invincible treble is already cemented into Celtic folklore. We wish Tom all the best for the future.
