The John Kennedy interim era begins today and he’s handed a rare start to Patryk Klimala who will be up top with Odsonne Edouard.
The Polish striker has been the one man overlooked by Neil Lennon this season when he shuffled the striker deck several times.
Kennedy obviously believes the frontman deserves a chance.
Laxalt coming in for the injured Greg Taylor was expected but Ismaila Soro is only on the bench. This was a source of frustration for a lot of Celtic fans under Neil Lennon with the Irishman’s over-reliance on the Celtic captain.
Bain keeps his place in goals with Barkas nowhere to be seen in the squad. Is he injured? or is he preparing for life away from Celtic already?
Ultimately, John Kennedy hasn’t reinvented the wheel here. Montogomery and Henderson coming onto the bench is good to see and they might even get some game time.
We’re hoping the bhoys can do enough to secure all three points and just bring some semblance of pride back to this team.
Kennedy has picked brown over soro as well. I just don’t get it, the season is over and he’s retiring so why not play the young guy

Klimala has been set free. Unleash him.

Kennedy should have been shown the door when Ronnie Delia left.
They guy is a charlatan, who can’t even set up a team to defend a corner.
