Former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has taken to social media this Sunday morning to thank Celtic fans for their support after many congratulated the Frenchman on winning La Liga with Atletico Madrid.
The league went down to the final game of the season on Saturday. Real Madrid had an outside chance of winning the title but Atletico were in the driving seat.
Remarkably, both clubs were getting beat at half time on Saturday but both turned it around in the second half with Atletico sealing the title.
Moussa went out on loan to the Spanish club in January from Lyon, hoping to secure a permanent deal. That might be up in the air at the moment but one thing that isn’t is the fact Moussa is now an SPFL invincible treble winner and a La Liga champion.
The striker has been inundated by messages since the full time whistle and it was nice to see him recognise the Celtic support.
Thanks for the congrats msg @CelticFC fans. I see you ??. I’m glad to see you’re happy for me. You are truly grateful & so I am to you. Remember my success is also yours so… WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS??❤️??#RealInviciblesAreUs

Celtic fans like to see former Hoops stars do well for themselves. Not to mention we still have a financial interest in Moussa Dembele’s future at the moment.
