JAMES MILNER admitted he leans towards The Rangers side of the fence these days as he spoke about the upcoming Glasgow Derby fixture.

The Premier League midfielder revealed he’s been swayed to that side, not because of anything the Ibrox club have done or are currently doing – but simply to wind up teammate Andy Robertson who talks about Celtic too much.

Milner, who will take to the field with his team at Celtic Park in the Match for Cancer against Stan Petrov’s Celtic side next month admitted trying to wind up the left back with being more pro Ibrox than neutral.

“We have got Robbo in our dressing room who goes on about Celtic non-stop. He will definitely have it (The Glasgow Derby) on,” Milner said.

“It was pretty neutral before he came, but I must admit I do lean towards the Rangers side when we are talking about it just to wind him up if nothing else!”

Celtic take on The Rangers at Celtic Park on Sunday in the first Glasgow Derby of the season.

There is an added spice with the two men on the touchline previously being the manager and captain of Milner’s current side Liverpool a few years back.

We have to wonder what Milner has been saying to try and wind Andy up though.

‘Haha Lad – Celtic only managed a 3-2 win with ten men at Ibrox, what’s that all about’.
