TIMO WEAH was yellow carded in the aftermath of Celtic’s late win against Kilmarnock on Sunday after a flashpoint after the match where he got into it with a few Kilmarnock players.

Weah, 18, has only been at Celtic for over a month but the passion he has shown in each and every game has already made him a crowd favourite.

Bobby Madden was quick to get the yellow card out when Weah was over giving some of the Killie players verbal at full time with Jordan Jones shoving the American at one point.

The PSG loanee took to social media to explain exactly what happened and how he was targeted by THREE Kilmarnock players as soon as he entered the field as a late sub,

Weah apologised if he offended anyone with his over exuberance but refused to back down for sticking up for himself.

Killie players tried to take liberties and the young American gave them some back.
