THE Rangers have tonight released a statement after their player’s was rightly cited for violent conduct after Jon Flanagan elbowed Scott Brown in the face.

The Micky mouse board as accused the SFA of holding their club to a different standard than the rest and cited Jozo Simunovic on Jermain Defoe as why their player should face no action.

Jon Flanagan clearly elbowed Scott Brown and should have been sent off but the club are trying to put pressure on the SFA this evening in order for their thug to get away with one.

The Ibrox club have had 12 red cards this season due to their indiscipline. They can’t seem to behave themselves at all and when their board act like petulant children you can understand why it happens.

Jon Flanagan’s hearing will be heard on Thursday where the player should pick up a two match ban for his senseless act.
