BRUNO ALVES made an admission about why he came to Scotland and as you can imagine, it’s all about Celtic.

The underwhelming defender who made the switch to Ibrox in the summer admitted he did so in-part to play against Celtic.

“The fixture against Celtic was one of the reasons I came to Rangers*.” said Alves

“It was an important challenge for me but I need to look forward and be ready for the next derbies. I was in therapy in Madrid and watched the game there on my computer.

It confirms that we all suspected, we are actually helping this hapless club attract players.

While the stars coming into Celtic are doing so for the opportunity to play for Brendan Rodgers as well as try their hand in Europe’s elite competitions.

Celtic is a club that just keeps on giving after being responsible for a 370k payout to every SPFL club including Pedro Caixinha’s side earlier this week.
