Ibrox legend Brian Laudrup is trying to use Celtic’s title winning side to inspire The Rangers to make a comeback next season.
Laudrup tipped the Ibrox club to win last season’s title and was shocked to see a new look Celtic side with a new manager manage to charge past everyone and win the title back at the first time of asking.
We have to credit Brian for being a glass half full sort of guy. He’s using Celtic as proof you can quickly turn things around if you make the right moves — however — even Brian concedes Celtic’s guaranteed Champions League football is a massive blow to the Ibrox club.

Laudrup wrote in his Daily Mail column as cited by RecordSport: “One thing is already apparent. Rangers face a far more complicated window than their rivals. That doesn’t have to be a barrier to eventual success, though. Just think back to the chaos we saw at Parkhead last summer. If you work smart, anything can be achieved.
“This time, Celtic undoubtedly start with certain advantages. Winning last season’s Premiership means they have the stability of guaranteed Champions League income to financially support their plans. Also, the overhaul already undertaken has created a strong contract profile within their squad.
Celtic we’re in a bad way — we all know that. But what also helped contribute to the downfall of his pals in Govan last season was complacency.
They thought they were so far ahead of the game and could see the automatic qualification spot for the Champions League. They got complacent and they didn’t take the threat from Celtic seriously enough. In the end — it was their undoing.
Now we’re not saying for a moment Celtic will go on to win the title next season — they have a great opportunity to do so. But if somehow they don’t, it won’t be caused by complacency — it’s a word that doesn’t come into Ange Postecoglou’s vocabulary.
