IF Celtic are to win the Scottish Cup then they’re going to have to do it the hard way after Aberdeen overcame Steven Gerrard’s men in Glasgow – beating them 2-0.

Neil Lennon along with the Celtic fans were hoping for the easiest passage possible to the final but they will now go up against The Dons who held the bhoys to a 0-0 draw on Saturday.

There is some good news for Celtic with the news Graeme Shinnie will miss the semi-final due to suspension after collecting too many yellow cards in the competition.

Celtic are looking to defend the trophy for a third consecutive season and will have to be on their game to make sure they get past their opponents from the north.

For Steven Gerrard’s men, their season is over and contrary to Jermain Defoe’s claim in January he and Stevie bhoy will be bringing NO trophies home.

Brendan Rodgers has a better chance at Leicester of winning something!

The semi-final games will be played on the 13th/14th April next month.

  2. Celtic are only looking to defend the Scottish cup for the second successive year. We weren’t the holders in Rodgers first year, so we weren’t defending it.
