Ange Postecoglou led Celtic to yet another title triumph this afternoon as the champagne was lifted off the ice.
Second half strikes from Kyogo and Oh secured a 2-0 Hoops win at Tynecastle which, in turn, confirmed the Bhoys’ status as champions.
On Sunday afternoon and evening, celebrations were widespread and Parkhead was the main area to which fans flocked in their droves.
The team were welcomed back to Paradise with much adoration and this photo, which was taken from Celtic’s official Twitter page, shows the significance of the fans who went to Celtic Park on Sunday evening:
Undoubtedly, this image is an iconic one.
It will go down in history as one of the most legendary shots in the club’s history and if football without fans is nothing, as the late great Jock Stein put it, this photo is everything.
In addition between now and the end of the season, there will be plenty more photos like the above, though, as the Hoops drive towards the treble.
And no broken benches or alcohol bottles left strewn all over the place.
A big shout out to the Celtic women after coming so close to making it a double for Celtic well done girls were so proud of the way you have played all season and it will happen for you 🍀🍀
