More reports in Japan claim Celtic have agreed a fee for Yosuke Ideguchi.

The player has been heavily linked with Celtic over the past month but there has been doubt whether Celtic would look to bring in all the Japanese players they’ve been linked with.

Daizen Maeda looks to be on his way and according to more reports this evening the bhoys have agreed a £850k fee for Yosuke Ideguchi.

Ange Postecoglou is looking to bring in some quality reinforcements in the January window. It stands to reason he would go back to a market he knows very well.

The Celtic manager brought in Kyogo back in the summer and his success has certainly opened the door for more players to make an impact.

Ideguchi, 25, who currently plays for Osaka has had a poor run of form but he has potential.

Under Ange’s system and guidance, it could be a great move for the club and the player.
