ALAN BRAZIL’s biggest gaffe this season was outwardly laughing at the appointment of Ange Postecoglou to the Celtic hot seat.

The clip has been played thousands of times and has made it all the way to Australia where local pundits and football enthusiasts have laughed off the comments made by Brazil at the time.

It was a moment where Celtic had missed out on Eddie Howe and then went out to get a guy not many people had heard of. There was scepticism within the Celtic support for sure, however, Brazil’s reaction to the news was quite something.

In his early days at Celtic, the Australian had to put up with a lot of ridiculous comments from the press. Even having to tell one journalist he wasn’t from another planet and he was well aware who Hearts were before he got to Glasgow.

Brazil was today on his TalkSport show with Ally McCoist claiming managers need to be backed more in England.

Ally McCoist turned it around on Brazil and said ‘Like you backed Ange Postecoglou?’

Brazil replied: “I knew he would come good. I knew my man would come good.

“I’ll be going to see him soon.” As cited by SunSport.

There has to be a moment when Brazil and Ange come together to chat about those comments and the shock jock’s attempt to make himself look clever at the expense of the Hoops gaffer.

There are five games to go in the SPFL and the bhoys are in a great position. The Celtic support are willing Ange and the team onto victory.

Fingers crossed we can get this title over the line.
