It may have been a long time ago, but his recent visit to Glasgow has proved that Celtic fans still appreciate Jorge Cadete after 20 years removed from being a Celtic Player.
The Portuguese ace visited Celtic Park and Glasgow recently and thoroughly enjoyed his time.
He may not have hair like spaghetti anymore but Jorge revealed that he told Brendan if he needs a striking coach – then he would happily answer the call.
The former Hoops star revealed he spoke to the Celtic manager: “We spoke about my time at the club and I also told Brendan that if he needs a striker coach, I am available.
“Ian Rush did that job at Liverpool and I believe that — like goalkeeping — it is a specialist area.
“Celtic have some very good strikers. I have been very impressed with Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths.
“But I believe I could help to make them even better with my experience and knowledge.”
