Many Celtic fans enjoyed hearing Neil Lennon saying he was going to cut out the passing around the danger area after Celtic’s win against Hearts at Tynecastle on Wednesday. It was a constant complaint among fans on the Rodgers Style.
The Ex-Manager refused to change the style despite some players looking completely uncomfortable with it. The style was clearly to blame for loses at Ibrox and against Valencia at Paradise.
Lennon has now said he won’t stop the passing from the back but will try focus on poor decision making.

It is heart attack football around your own box, it is not enjoyable and more and more teams are starting to realise it can be a Celtic weakness if they start pressing the Bhoys high up the park.
Possession football is fine if you can keep possession, losing possession in your own box can lose games and points. Lennon was speaking ahead of his trip back to his former employers at Easter Road.
