CELTIC will look to defend their champion status in the League Cup and the League next season. The club will also look to fight to win the Scottish Cup after going two seasons without doing so.

Postecoglou will look to strengthen his side in the summer transfer window to compete in Europe’s top stage. The manager expected a few signings to be made but has warned that fans should expect as many incoming as last year. The manager will look to move the deadwood on, with many Celtic players likely to move on.

Celtic will be competing in the Champions League next season. All but ten of the teams have been confirmed. Celtic will enter the competition in the group phase. As stated by UEFA, the Champions League Group Stage draw will take place on the 25th of August 2022.

The SPFL will release the fixtures for Celtic’s title defence campaign on the 17th of June at 9.00 am, according to the SPFL website. Celtic will most likely have a lunchtime kick-off on Saturday 30th July, when they will raise the flag.

It means that Celtic fans will have waited 77 days from the final day of the season until they see their team in competitive action.

However, to relieve fans from their boredom, there are some international games in the first two weeks of June, before Celtic take part in their pre-season tour and friendlies at Celtic Park.
