UNDER Ange Postecoglou, Celtic have been defensively solid, maintaining the best defensive record in the league. The back five, including Hart, have been brilliant at times.

Having a solid defence is key to Postecoglou’s style of play, often left exposed, they must deal with any threat posed.

According to the Twitter account @pieandbov, Celtic have only dropped one point after the 75th minute. Basically, Postecoglou’s side has only given away a lead in the closing stages of an SPFL game once this season.

This came against Hearts in this season’s opening game; Celtic were level until conceding a set-piece late on, which gifted Hearts all three points.

The difference between then and now is unbelievable.

Hopefully, the stat calms Celtic fans’ nerves when seeing off closely contested games. Often, the anxiety can be felt from the fans, and however, there is no reason for this. Our tight defence could prove pivotal to our title success when heading into the splits.
