SCOTLAND have taken an alright scalp in their European qualifying campaign by grabbing a deserved win against Spain on Tuesday night! The game ending 2-0.

It’s certainly not the Spanish team of old, but they’re still a side who flew into Scotland with the expectation they’d beat Steve Clarke’s men.

Celtic Captain Callum McGregor played his part of the midfielder on the night and helped his country to a famous win. It’s very different

The plaudits, of course, go to Manchester Utd’s Scott McTominay who bagged a brace on the night.

Former Celt Kieran Tierney was also instrumental in the second goal for Scotland, charging down the wing and getting the ball into the box. It’s six points out six for Scotland. The players will be on a high after this result.

For Celtic fans, they’ll be happy to see Callum be part of the result and that he came through the game unscathed.

The midfielder will head back to Lennoxtown in the next few days and will no doubt be in the heart of Celtic’s midfield come the weekend when the bhoys travel to Dingwall.
