CELTIC will be without their French defender Christopher Jullien when they take to the field against Riga in Latvia on Thursday evening.
It has been confirmed today the player didn’t travel due to a back injury, presumably the same injury which kept him out of the Livingston win at the weekend.

We never want to see the big man out but if there was a time to go down injured it would be now, having Shane Duffy in gives Celtic fans comfort the defence will be ok in the French centre-back’s absence.
It’s going to be Duffy’s euro bow for Celtic on Thursday and he’ll be leading the charge from the back alongside Kristoffer Ajer and potentially Hatem Elhamed.
Celtic need to ensure there are no slip-ups or slow starts against the Latvian side, if they take things too lightly, we could be faced with another exit. Jullen’s absence is a blow but it isn’t fatal.
