JAMES FORREST limped off during Celtic’s 1-0 win against Riga in their Europa League third qualifying round on Thursday evening.
The midfielder who has been ever-present in Neil Lennon’s team will MISS the visit of Hibs on Sunday after it was revealed the player must undergo a scan upon return to Scotland.
James Forrest had bone bruising, will have a scan tomorrow or Saturday. He’ll definitely miss Celtic’s game v Hibs on Sunday

Celtic have a big game against high flying Hibernian but will have to do it without the winger.
The bhoys had to work hard for their victory in Latvia. A very late goal from super sub Moi Elyounoussi saved the day and sent the club through to the playoff round of the competition.
James hasn’t started the season particularly well but he can always be a threat. It will be interesting to see how Neil Lennon deals with his absence.
The club are one point off the top of the table with a game in hand. Three points against Hibs would be a strong statement.
thats not a loss. should actually benefit celtic.
did nothing before he got injured and frimpong was superb.
I was settled to avoid watching the game of Forrest played ! Says it all , he is abysmal !
