NEIL LENNON has given a post-match update on two injury concerns after the team’s impressive win against Hibernian.

Albian Ajeti scored and immediately signalled to the bench that he had pulled his hamstring, the Celtic manager bringing the Swiss striker off for Edouard.

Ryan Christie didn’t come out for the second half with David Turnbull coming on and impressing for the bhoys.

Speaking after the game, the Celtic gaffer confirmed Ryan is going to be ok for Thursday even though he took a bit of a knock but it was bad news for Ajeti.

“He was winded and he felt sore in his stomach, I think he’ll be fine for Thursday,” Neil Lennon told CelticTV.

“Albian, it looks like a hamstring so it could be a couple of weeks for him, which is a blow because he’s been in great scoring form”

Celtic are looking to make the playoff of the Europa League but must get past Sarajevo. They will have to do it without Ajeti but we have enough depth to cope with the striker being out.

Edouard will likely start the Europa tie and Turnbull will be in contention for a place in the starting XI. The team seemed to click more on Sunday against Hibs.
