NEIL LENNON has confirmed this evening in France they are without Leigh Griffiths for the game against Rennes on Thursday due to the striker picking up a thigh strain in training.
The Celtic striker has had very few minutes over the past three or four weeks and would have been expected to take his place on the bench against the French side.
This will make way for another squad player to get involved with Bayo likely to also start on the bench.
Eddy will lead the line for the bhoys as they hope to cause an upset. Neil Lennon confirmed the injury in his press conference and also cleared Christopher Jullien to play after his nasty head knock at the weekend.

Celtic are nearly at full strength and have options almost everywhere on the park. Tom Rogic being back adds intrigue to Neil Lennon’s team selection as does Olivier Ntcham who may be preferred for the game in France.
Think this game could be Tailor Made for Ntcham.Mon the HooPs Intae Them ☘HH☘
