With Edouard’s Glasgow Derby status hanging in the balance, Celtic have been given some welcome news over new bhoy Albian Ajeti.

The Swiss striker has hit the ground running fit Celtic since coming in for West Ham but fell to a hamstring injury immediately after scoring against Hibernian a couple of weeks back.

It left Ajeti out of contention for the last couple of games and there was a question mark over his own Glasgow Derby status.

The Celtic manager was on hand to deliver an update on Albian’s status and its good news.

“Albian is feeling good. I spoke to him Tuesday morning when he came in to do some running and I hope he’ll join us again for training at the end of this week or the start of next week.” Neil Lennon told CelticTV.

If Celtic have to manage without Edouard — they will be able to call on Klimala, Griffiths and Ajeti for the derby.

Klimala would clearly be the fittest to start on the day but we’ll need to wait and see how this all one out.
