Celtic’s lack of transfer activity this term has been frustrating and with many arguing it cost us a place in the Champions League play-off, it could now come back to bite us in the Europa League.
Neil Lennon has confirmed today that Celtic’s right back signing Hatem Elhamed is a doubt for the game against AIK on Thursday night leaving Celtic with either Anthony Ralston or having to move Kristoffer Ajer back over to the right to facilitate a back four.

This has been rumbling on for 18-months, Celtic badly need more players in defence and Hatem has been doing well in the role so far but one injury and the Celtic team has to completely rethink their defence.
Had Celtic been more active in the window this could have been avoided and another right-back could have provided relief. As it stands, Celtic go into another qualifier with the bare bones and the board need to realise how much this frustrates the Celtic support.
If Anthony Ralston gets the call then i am sure he will do a Professional job on the night, the fans need to get behind the all the players that are on the pitch make them feel good and they will play much better when they know the fans are behind them…
