We reported earlier today that Leigh Griffiths had missed training this morning which sparked fears he may be out of this weekend’s game.

Brendan Rodgers has CONFIRMED in the last few minutes that the player missed training to undergo a scan on his leg. But as of yet, there has been no decision taken on whether he will feature on Saturday.

The striker will be desperate to be cleared for the game but Celtic can’t take any chances, especially with such a big game coming up on Tuesday.

With Leigh’s fitness hanging in the balance, it could prove a pivotal afternoon for Moussa Dembele who would surely get the nod if Legh doesn’t make it.

  1. I will be gutted for Leigh if he misses out on the serco game , but if he is not 100% then he can not play. Yes we have bigger fish to fry in the coming week. I am sure his replacement will grab his chance with both hand and he will be more than a hand-full for serco. The biggest problem now is who do we leave out? Our bench will be worth more than serco (the club) itself. Bring them on, and I notice “the mouff” warbarton has emerged from under a flute in Belfast last Saturday to have his usual spew. Maybe this visit to Paradise will shut him up. So come on Bhoys ,this is 31st anniversary of Big Jock`s passing, let`s make it really special and win this match with good football ,the way he would have done . R.I.P. H.H.

  2. Hope we do the business tomorrow and shut all the huns up the semi final was a blip the tic will cruise it tomorrow. Shame it’s not on BT sports which I signed up to watch the old firm derbies but will end up in the big tree pub hh
