NEIL LENNON has confirmed Tom Rogic is unlikely to start the game against St Mirren on Wednesday evening with the midfielder suffering from some swelling and fluid in his knee.

Tom looks to be slowly getting back to his best after missing the entirety of pre-season and the start of this campaign with injury. With Ryan Christie back from domestic suspension there’s no reason to risk the Australian against the Paisley side.

Elsewhere, the Celtic manager gave Christopher Jullien the all clear to play the game with the Frenchman suffering a bug at the weekend which meant he came off after 45 minutes against Aberdeen when the game was already won.

“Tom’s got a little bit of inflammation again around his knee” Lennon told CelticTV.

“Christopher Jullien is fine, he had a little bit of a bug but he trained this morning.

“Ntcham is back in training and obviously Christie comes back into contention as well”

Celtic are on a roll in the SPFL having scored ten goals in the last two games and they’ll be hoping to add to that tally on Wednesday evening when the buddies come to town.

Ryan Christie will likely start behind the strikers but if Ntcham is back in training he could see some second half action if the game is put beyond doubt before then.
