After grabbing the seventh goal of the game at Celtic Park on Sunday, Liel Abada enjoyed the day off on Sunday taking in the game between Man City and Liverpool at the Etihad.

The game ended 2-2 between first and second in the English Premier League in a pulsating encounter.

Liel was joined by fellow countryman and Celtic teammate Nir Bitton who categorised the day out as a father and son trip.

Nir was sensational when he came on against The Rangers at Ibrox a week ago when he was brought on in the second half to shore up the game. The midfielder broke up the play and ultimately helped Celtic to the win.

Liel came on as a first half sub for the injured Giakoumakis on Saturday against St Johnstone and grabbed the final goal of the game as Celtic stretched their goal difference at the top of the SPFL.

All the players will have had Sunday off before heading back to Lennoxtown on Monday to prepare for the Scottish Cup semi-final against The Rangers.

If Celtic can grab a third win in a row against their Glasgow rivals, they’ll book their place in the final of the Scottish Cup.
