His partner was living part-time between Isreal and Scotland before they separated. She has been in her home country for the past few weeks.
After Bitton had taken Abada to the Manchester City vs Liverpool game at the weekend, the midfielder posted a photo of the pair with his arm around the winger captioned ‘my guy’.
The duo have a father/son relationship some fans feel, but whatever it is, it’s great that they are looking out for each other.
The whole squad seem to be a close bunch, on and off the park. As Jota said early on in the season, they are one big family.
Abada will have a lot going through his mind at the moment. But he will hopefully have his eye on the semi final on Sunday. The winger already has a derby goal to his name, scoring in the 3-0 win at Celtic Park back in February. One at Hampden could lift him and everyone!
