It was a share of the spoils at Celtic Park tonight as the side that was temporarily taken charge this evening by Gavin Strachan, dropped yet more points in the league with a 1-1 draw against Hibernian.

In the late stages of the game, the Hoops thought they had secured the three points after a simply sublime free-kick by David Turnbull in the 82nd minute.

However, in stoppage time the Edinburgh were able to snatch a share of the points through a late goal by Kevin Nesbit.

Even though there were a few new names in the side after it was depleted with 13 players being forced to self-isolate, it was the same old mistakes this season conceding from yet another set-piece, as Diego Laxalt gave away a needless free-kick in and around the area.

The last 24 hours have been simply disastrous and it just goes from bad to worse, with this result meaning we are now 21 points behind in the league.

Celtic’s season is over in January. A Scottish Cup run is the best we can hope for.

  1. Meh. I hope all the players in isolation were watching the game. Its good to extend your seasonal holidays isn’t it. Ohhh how we will all look back and see what your contracts are worth in June. Well the supporters don’t care as they were spoilt with the successes of previous teams. Wait a minute, are not you mostly that team? I rest my case ……… Sadly missed …… Where are you all now? Probably in bed on your phones by now. Tomorrows training will just be another day at the office for you. We’ll all be crying in our breakfast bowls, wondering were you went wrong. But we won’t be your piggie bank anymore. You have finally killed this golden goose.
