ANGE POSTECOGLOU has handed Sead Haksabanovic his full Celtic debut in the Hoops’ Champions League matchday two tie against Shakhtar Donetsk.

The manager has also named Oliver Abildgaard on the bench, meaning he could also make his Celtic debut tonight!

It’s a brilliant match to make your debut in. After impressing from the bench, Haksabanovic will be keen to show what he’s all about on the top stage. He’s been given a big chance, with Maeda and Abada having to sit this out from the start.

It’ll be interesting to see what wing he plays on. Jota has started on the left the past few matches, even when Maeda has started but can switch throughout the game to the right.

A similar pattern will likely surface tonight, with the wingers keeping the opposition defenders on their toes.

Having versatile players allows Celtic to change things up if necessary and can give them different options.

Abildgaard will probably only come on if Celtic are a few goals to the good in the game’s closing stages. Ange has hinted he isn’t up to full fitness yet but will get a chance when he’s up to scratch.
